Welcome to the kids’ corner. I believe that children possess some of the most amazing connections with the other side. Being a mom of two amazing boys, I know in watching them grow their connection with the other side has evolved in various ways.
They have gone from scared of the things they weren’t sure of, to making connections with the other side, to confused of what was happening, to talking to those on the other side, and so on.
Throughout all my years of spiritual work, I’ve seen that kids need to connect with themselves. Making deeper connections with their emotions as well as finding their creative outlets, helps them not only to make those connections but allows them to grow in such a beautiful way. Trusting, listening to their intuition, and really finding their way through and navigating this crazy world.
Children need and deserve an understanding of self, and protection first before anything else. This is where Spirit and I like to begin. Once we get those connections growing, we can then help them to understand their gifts and to grow from there.
Within the Juniper Theory, you will find some amazing classes for your child/children. Classes are designed so that parent and child can find their connection together as well as separate. Thus growing and finding their new healed, healthy, expressive outlets through spirit and the day too day.
Here you will find some tips and tools about how to talk to your kiddos, a bit of guidance, and classes to help them to grow their connections in a healthy way.
What’s beyond the clouds? When learning about the spiritual side of things, it can be a bit tough to explain the “other side.” I remember being taught that heaven, or the other side, was just beyond the clouds. When we are young, it’s hard to conceptualize death and dying where there is to go after. Allowing a child’s mind to connect with something tangible helps them grasp the concept a little bit easier. So, if we say, those that you lost are beyond the clouds, it’s a way to give a child a place to connect with. So, say they are missing someone, they can look up and have a place to share, speak, and connect emotionally.
The beauty in the clouds. Guardian Angels have so many various stories and tales. A Guardian Angel may have been within your ancestral line; it could’ve been a relative who passed right before your birth. It may be someone of a higher level guiding you on your path to greatness. Your person is assigned to you based on your purpose in this lifetime and your journey in this life. Learning to connect with them and hear their guidance is one of those magical things we carry within us.
The magic in their minds

Connecting with themselves
Children need a way to connect with their emotions and who they are. That little voice inside helps them navigate this world with a little bit of knowing that if they listen, they will find their way. They are looking for ways to grow and find their creative outlets, to express and feel in ways they may not have been able to before.
Signs are all around! From butterflies to birds, the memories flood through at the right time. Signs are all around, from your Guardian Angels to your loved ones who have passed away to your pets on the other side. Signs can be from those spirits trying to guide you, to help you along the way. When you need a little guidance, help, a little nudge to help show you which direction you need to go, or letting you know you’re on the right path. Speaking out loud to your Spirit team, those you’re missing, they hear you and will guide you in all the ways they can. I just wanted to let you know you are never alone.
Afraid of so much…
Being a child can be so scary sometimes, especially for those sensitive to Spirits. Sometimes it’s seeing, and sometimes it’s feeling or sensing; other times, it’s just knowing that we are not alone. When this happens, it can be unsettling because we can feel a bit unsettled for a child and an adult, especially when we can’t tangibly touch it. The greatest thing we can do for our children is to allow them to have these experiences happen, while giving them the direction to connect with God/Spirit/Loved ones to let them know they are protected. Some of the greatest gifts are carried by the little ones. There are no blockages, and this allows them to connect with their intuition.
We don’t always know what the future holds, and for a child, it can be hard to move through things without knowing the outcome. Those who are incredibly empathic and feel the weight of the world, those close to them, have emotions flooding in every direction it can be hard to deal with. The unknown can be scary, especially when they can feel things from all directions. Giving them room to feel, express, and learn that not everything they are carrying is theirs and how to take care of that when the load is getting too hard to carry will give them the light they need in the times it feels darker or heavier.
They carry a light within
The light that is in that heart that they carry. Not always knowing what it is, how to use it, and what it means for their spirit and soul. This light is a light of healing, of guidance from above. There is a space within them that they will always carry with them even when they hit obstacles or walls and do things they may need to seek forgiveness for. This light is always there to carry them in the times that they may need a little bit of help. The light is guided by the love they have for themselves. A fundamental in the scheme of life, one that will always be there, and with every ounce they give out, they put in equally to themselves, this light will always shine its brightest.
The power of knowledge
Knowing that there is more out there, giving guidance to chase their dreams, allowing the world to not seem as grim and heavy all the time, yet preparing them for what they may face in years ahead, is simply all you can do. Teaching them to trust in themselves, to find comfort in they are never truly alone, and that there is more out there for them to rely on when there may not be those close to them that they can, is the best knowledge you can give. Loving, helping others, helping and loving self, and trusting in the power of their mind, their voice, that little whisper, is magic and powerful.
Trust in something above
God, Spirit, loved ones, a Higher Power, whatever you believe in. There is something powerful about giving trust up, believing you deserve all you could dream of and more, and letting go of control. Sometimes we get in our way and try to push our beliefs, what we want someone else to see and absorb. Really though, no one can tell you how to trust in something above; it’s a feeling, something only you can find, something that you must give time to, and then when it happens, it’s the most magical thing. For kids, it’s about letting them explore and feel and sense. Their awareness is far greater than ours. It comes from above when they are born, and when it’s not dismissed or hidden, their ability to see the world in a way that their purity carries allows that connection to form in such a way that it’s not just above. It’s everywhere.
Share through creativity
Oh, creative energy, speaking from the soul. A way to let it all out, sharing it, healing through art, expressing the things we can’t find words to. It’s a great way to tap inward and outwardly. Listening to what colors speak while allowing the strokes, the markers, the colors to share a bit about who you are what you feeling, and it becomes its own therapy!
